2 lb. I-Beam Bookend

Own an authentic piece of the Golden Gate Bridge.

This 2 lb. bookend is handcrafted from the I-beam portion of the original pedestrian handrail installed on the Golden Gate Bridge in 1937 and removed in 1993. Its substantial weight makes it both a functional bookend and a distinctive piece of San Francisco history.

Each piece is cut and finished by hand in our San Francisco metal studio and is available with the natural patina of the historic steel or finished in Golden Gate Bridge International Orange.

Because every bookend is made from authentic bridge steel, variations in surface, texture and finish are part of its history and make each one unique.
