Focus - Wall Sculpture

San Francisco’s iconic Golden Gate Bridge is transformed into a stunning wall art sculpture, perfect for your home or office.

This unique piece of art is crafted from pieces of steel cut from an I-Beam portion of the original handrail. Each piece is meticulously cleaned of debris and rough edges, then given a fresh coat of vibrant International Orange.

The sculpture’s design draws inspiration from the original handrail that was placed on the bridge during its construction in the 1930s. These historic sections of handrail were removed in 1993 due to weathering and fatigue. The original steel, produced by Bethlehem Steel Corporation in Pennsylvania, has been exposed to the wind and salt air of the Golden Gate for 56 years, resulting in a distinctive patina finish.

The wall art sculpture is handcrafted at our workshop in San Francisco. The original Golden Gate Bridge Steel was fabricated by Bethlehem Steel Corporation in Pennsylvania in the 1930s.
