This handcrafted keychain is made from authentic steel from the original Golden Gate Bridge pedestrian handrail, installed in 1937 and removed in 1993. After decades of exposure to the wind and salt air of the Golden Gate, the historic steel has been transformed into a compact, functional piece you can carry every day.
Each keychain features a solid, tumbled section of bridge steel finished in International Orange, the official color of the Golden Gate Bridge. Every piece is cut, shaped and assembled by hand in our San Francisco metal studio.
The steel portion measures approximately 1½" long × ¼" × ¼" and is attached to a durable stainless steel keyring.
